Neil Shepard has been instrument in the recognition of vestibular rehabilitation as a viable form of management for patients with motion related dizziness.  Neil has concentrated on the clinical assessment and rehabilitation of balance disorder patients and clinical research endeavors related to both assessment and rehabilitation.  He has developed successful and well respected Dizziness and Balance Disorder programs at several institutions and lectures internationally on vestibular disorders.  Neil is currently the Director of the Dizziness and Balance Disorders Program, Mayo Clinic Rochester and Professor in the Mayo Medical School.  Neil has always been willing to share his vast knowledge with others and is an excellent speaker.  I would highly recommend attending a course taught by Neil.  More importantly, Neil has always impressed me with his generosity, modesty and patience.  Neil is not responsible for the content on this website, however I wanted to demonstrate my appreciation for his efforts with this acknowledgement.

Donna Phillips PhD, PT, was Director of Outpatient Services at Geisinger Healthsouth Rehabilitation Hospital in Danville, PA.  She was my supervisor for 8 years and was extremely supportive of my career ambitions.  Donna was instrumental in the development of our Balance / Vestibular program.  She was supportive of my continuing education needs and always encouraged time out of the clinic for professional growth.  I am sincerely grateful for her support.
